Safety and Protection
Respiratory Protection:
- When required by risk assessment, Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) may be used.
- Selection of the Respiratory Protective Device (RPD) must be based on exposure levels, product hazards, and safe working limits.
- Use self‑contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) or positive pressure airline with mask in oxygen‑deficient atmospheres.
Guideline Reference: EN 137 – Respiratory protective devices, self‑contained open‑circuit compressed air breathing apparatus with full face mask (requirements, testing, marking).
Thermal Hazards: No precautionary measures are necessary.
Hygiene Measures: Follow good industrial hygiene and safety procedures. Do not eat, drink, or smoke when handling the product.
