Compressed Oxygen Cylinders – Refrigerant Gas Suppliers™
Refrigerant Gas Suppliers™ provides compressed oxygen cylinders designed to support a wide range of industrial applications. Our industrial‑grade oxygen vigorously supports the combustion of materials such as copper, brass, and stainless steel, making it essential for cutting, welding, brazing, and soldering. Using oxygen instead of air delivers higher flame temperatures and improved efficiency.
Features
- Supplied with 99.5% purity rating
- Colourless and odourless
- Non‑toxic at atmospheric pressure
- Does not burn but supports and accelerates combustion
Benefits
- Increases flame temperature when added to conventional air‑fuel flames
- Stabilises arcs and reduces surface tension in shielding gas mixtures
- Maintains cutting speed and efficiency (a 1% purity drop increases consumption by 25%)
Cylinder Sizes & Supply
We offer a range of cylinder sizes, including the compact E cylinder (0.68 m³, 7 kg) and larger options for higher capacity. For customers requiring significant supply, our Manifolded Cylinder Pallet (MCP) securely houses 15 cylinders in a robust steel frame, delivering up to 165.50 m³ of gas.

Material Compatibility
Oxygen supports combustion of many materials that do not normally burn in air. Copper, brass, and stainless steel are compatible, but oil and grease must never be used as they can ignite explosively. PTFE tape is also unsafe with oxygen due to its oil content.
Applications
- Cutting, welding, brazing, and soldering
- Oxy‑fuel cutting for steel
- Plasma and laser cutting processes
- Thermal lancing for concrete, brick, stone, and metals
- High‑purity oxygen for laboratories, process control, and semiconductor production
- Assist gas in lasers for cutting mild steel
